Weekend grocery shopping

My husband and I went for grocery shopping on Sunday. We bought so much stuff that we could not fit everything in our fridge. Hopefully they will get us through this week without spending any money on food!!

    From what I remember food in Japan is really fresh compared to what you buy in the US.

    Really? Considering Japan's food self-efficiency rate is only 40% and we depend on foods imported from other countries, I thought the food we get in Japan is not so fresh. So, did you used to live in Japan?
